Experience art car culture in an intimate setting.
The Teleport Art Car Experience is a collaborative project which brings together art car crews from the southwest for a unified event that is “For Us and By Us”. Our team includes art car crews from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Bay Area, and beyond. Our aim is to provide an environment that allows art cars to roam freely on a dry lakebed in a format that is easy to for art cars and their crews to attend and share with our participants.
At Teleport, the spotlight is on the art cars throughout the duration of the event which is unique from most any other event in Southern California. We coordinate a few moments where all the art cars come together and link up, but encourage their free reign to roll around the playa on their own schedule otherwise. We can't wait to share this very special experience with you!
The Playa 500 Motorcycle Derby
We host a motocross 1 mile diamond race course on the open playa with a series of challenges to complete after each lap. Show off to an audience of art cars and party goers cheering on the shenanigans!
Winner receives a custom trophy and a surprise GRAND PRIZE opportunity that will go down in legend.
Participants are invited to enter at your own risk, You must have your own dirtbike or motorcycle to enter the race.
